ch341a programmer not reading bios chip

The laptop just started randomly turning off when I would turn it on and at some point just lost all power no charging no lights and no I didn't look into the HP thing because I figured it was out of warranty and they wouldn't help me

if you are able to repair the bios chip finally at least you will be able to confirm it was ec chip all along

Perhaps the software you are using is dodge. I had lots of issues finding software where my antivirus will not complain. The software i'm using has the detection icon top middle of the software.
Another issue is the wires break after a time at the clip end. You will not notice this unless you have a meter to check open circuit. Seven of the eight wires are broken here but I soldered them back. It takes just one broken wire to stop it working correctly.

I'm using ASprogrammer, or Neoprogrammer, both are pretty good.

I cam't remember which one i'm using as it's on my laptop. I did around 8 or 9 downloads & only two passed the antivirus. So there seems to be some dodge software of the program out there. The antivirus just kept deleting one or two files.

I will need to boot-up the laptop & check which ones i'm using. I know for sure the ones i'm using looks different to the OP.

Mine look like this-

Yes this is how mine looks too & passed the virus checker. I tend to use the one on the right even thou I have both installed.

I use them stand alone, I think the right one is better, but keep both just in case.
