Hi,
I just realised I had a 1.5Tb drive doing nothing in my pc. I also figured that the stuff on my 3Tb drive easily fits on the 1.5Tb one. Since I'm planning to set up a simple home server soon, I would like to use that 3Tb drive instead on the 1.5Tb model.

Is there any way, to copy everything from the D drive over to my F drive. All without creating any problems for my installed software ?
My os is W7 and it's on a seperate ssd btw

Thanks !

If you're pulling the drive out, and moving it, then I would use something like Image for Windows, and image from the D drive to the F drive, shutdown, come back online, and verify drive letter assignment. That's my quick response :)

Both drives are in the pc right now, I found that partition wizard had a copy partition option so I'm running that now. I guess if I change the drive letter later it should work.
