why bother even doing that? just OC the e6600

what do you use it for?

E6600 to E8400 wont be that high of a jump in improvement... it'd be nicer for overclocking but i think that would be about it.
Other then that i would replace the g90 8800gts with either G92 GTS, or GT or 9800gtx or GTX280(if that does come out on time)
I would definitely replace your cooling system. If you wanna stay with water Id go with a custom water cooling... either Swiftech, DangerDen, or Ek. Thermaltake watercooling is pretty much garbage

how to change my water cooling ? the radiator is pre installed on the case because is the lcs armor :/

just replace your water blocks and pump

thermaltake radiators tubes is so bigger than swiftech

on my pc my gfx is 66c temperature WITHOUT OC if i overclock this shit my card able to cook eggs and chips omg HELP

Wait for the 4870's and get one of those. Any card out right now besides the 8800GTX/G92GTS/9800GTX/9800GX2 wouldnt make much of a performance diff.

agreed, not much real world difference at least...

and just so you know TT, if you switch to something like a 3870 or 8800GT you're going to get a lot less heat produced than your G80 GTS so the TT cooling would be able to handle it a bit better

i want to change vga watercooling and the cpu

Would not bother upgrading. Maybe as you say a good 3rd party cooler for your v card if needed. Maybe a HDD or 2 if money is burning a hole in your pocket lol.

im REALLY confused :/

Overclock it and open a greasy spoon cafe

but seriously I would just overclock everything and you will get a FREE boost in performance, and a pretty big one at that. No need to spend any money when you can get extra perfortmance for free :toast:

Besides, new GFX cards are out soon an nehalem would be something to save for as I think it'll cost an arm and a leg (maybe re-mortgage your house).

Now get overclocking!

umm... 66c load or 66c idle? if 66c is the idle temp, what is your load?
my 8600gts loads around 70 and idles around 50.

at THIS time is 72 degrees IDLE OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG i will get one 9800gtx and im fine what u think?

I think wait 2 weeks, because the new 4870 will be out and it will blow away the 9800gtx. Also Nvidia's GTX280 will be out in 2 weeks, so wait...........

Yes, wait.;) Perhaps, try reseating the waterblock on you GPU for the time being. If you buy a new video card now, it's very likely you will be dissapointed when the new ones come out in two weeks.:)

Umm... that high of a temperature should not be happening. Take the cooler out and blast it with a can of air.

Well your existing system looks good to me as it stands. What I would consider is waiting on the GTX280 when released and go for it. This would give you a change up that you are looking for.

2 weeks in UK and US...to cyprus may take up to 3-4 months because we are sooooooo far behind from TECHNOLOGY
