Wait im confused... what do you have your computer hooked up to? You said your PC, which would be your computer. Is your PC hooked up to your tv, and watch to be able to switch between the pc and xbox fast?

no no. I would like the switch connected to the back of my LCD 22" computer monitor. I'd like it to switch from my computer to my console simply instead of me going in back of it and unplugging one input and plugging in the other.

I have one of these.

I use it with my PC and my PS3 connected to the HDMI port on my monitor. I use a DVI to HDMI cable for my computer, and the HDMI cable that comes with the switch for my PS3. Then I plug the switch into the DVI/HDMI converter that came with my graphics card, which converts the HDMI signal back into a DVI signal at the back of the monitor.

It works most of the time, but occassionally the PC doesn't pick up that there is a monitor connected and doesn't output a signal. I got it for $50 at Circuit City, which isn't bad considering it came with an HDMI cable. You can probably find similar for cheaper online, I only got mine from CC because I had a gift card I had to spend.
