Checking PCI-E slot frequency?

Is there any way of checking the speed the PCI-e slot is running at through a program (not the BIOS)? By speed I mean 100MHz, 101MHz, etc. as in the BIOS setting... not 8x, 16x, etc.

Edit: Systool doesn't seem to work for me. Any other programs?

Which version displays PCI-E frequency?

@PennySavre,

Everest will display PCI-E frequency: Motherboard>Chipset>Clock Generator.

I don't see Clock Generator anywhere... is it in the trial version?

I do not know as I have the full version.

If it is not in the trial version, I apologize.

It is in the full version.

not possible unless clockgen supports your motherboard's clock ic. and even then it might not be 100% reliable

It isnt in my version of Ultimate either and its a full version? Maybe its more to do with branding!

v.4.60.1531 Beta?

nah 4.5......., that may be why!

But, you may be right about the specific manufacturer issue.

The OP has not said what their motherboard is.

Also if you have a nforce motherboard, ntune should be able to read it as well.
