While this is happening GPU usage becomes lower as well as CPU usage except the one core from CPU spikes to 90%. I haven't seen any sort of issues with Disk, this is happening right after I upgraded my monitor to 4K.

Earlier everything just works fine(Before monitor upgrade). I tried lowering the settings to minimum, manually changed the resolution to 1080P on my 4k monitor nothing works. This is happening only with Civilization 6 game. Other games max settings works flawlessly. And I dont have any issue with FPS (4K - 40-60 on Civ game as well)

This is happening only after atleast 100 turns of the game. (Multiplayer if someone host/until 100-120 turns if I host the game works fine)

Same 1080P settings with my other 1080p monitor just works fine.

Config:
i7 6700k
GTX 1060 6GB
M2.SSD 250GB
32GB 2400 RAM
Acer BX281HK

I'm going to be a dick and tell you to go play Civ V instead.

On a more serious note: reinstall display driver, repair your Civ 6 install (or reinstall altogether) is the best I can come up with. I doubt this is related to a 4K panel and rather something with the game itself.

Sounds like just a heavy, single thread load.

I found a tool called "BES", using this tool I have limited my CPU usage to -10%. and everything just works fine. I have tested this about 30 turns (150-180). game freezes only 1 time (Earlier it was like 2-3 times in a turn while moving the units)

I'm not sure about the side affects of this, but it works for me as a workaround

Thanks
