Clocking to DDR 800 worth it?

I have found that with the right combonation of certian settings, I can pretty much get my RAM to run just DDR20MHz under DDR800. My memory is DDR2 533, and it can apparantly accept a max of 2.1v. I may be willing to do to 2.15 since they do have some airflow going over them, due to my AC Freezer and my new old case fan.

Blah. In any case, is it worth it going up to DDR800 from my current DDR600 settings? Will I notice a difference in games? Loading times? Boot times? Will I be able to fold faster?

Eh on AMD you want the tight timings normally, but run a few benches see what it looks like.

5-5-5-15 tight enough at DDR800? Or am I better off at DDR600 4-4-4-12?

Don't know... It's so close it may not be noticeable at all, but thats why I say run a few benches see if there is a defined difference.

Run them a few times to get an average and then see how close they are.

Hm. I woder if something in the RAM is locked so it won't run at a 333MHz divider. Even at 6-6-6-18 with over 2.1v, no DDR800.

Guess the new goal is CPU 3GHz. At least I know everything else is perfectly stable, and all it takes to get there is a multiplier change and perhaps more voltage.

You should be able to hit 3ghz without a problem, you have the power supply to hold it.

meh.
Couldn't even do a minute of Orthos at 3GHz 1.45v. Temps hit 46c core too, but this is pretty much the dead of winter. Probably 60F in here.

I don't like pumping that much voltage through my CPU... besides, it's a JH-F2 revision. Probably wouldn't do it even if I gave it 1.6v.

u wont notice the difference in real life games.. memory bandwidth isnt a problem for amd..
