Cod 4 patch removal?

Hey everyone, is there any software or way to delete call of duty 4 patches?, i tried un installing didnt work, does anyone know where the patches are installed in the cod 4 folder or anywhere on the computer?

They should be installed somewhere in the programs folder, but im not so sure about COD 4.

Actually i just re-installed it and i found a bug in the system, the game shows my version 1.0.523 something so i try and install patch 1.4 but it says already instaleed same with every other patch now i just dont get it, any help appriciated

Most patches to games permanently alter the games internation files. While some games allow uninstallation of their patches, most I know of do not. If you are trying to remove a patch, reinstall the game and just update to the patch version you want.

Like i said i tried that the game is reset to its orignal version of 1.0.523 but it wont install the patch i need a patch removing software or where the patch installation location it
