COD 5 punkbuster issues!

Yesterday or so I begun to be kicked off of any server about 10 seconds loaded into a map. The cause was punkbuster and it says to manually update my files etc. So I did and this is still happening. I put the player security file and the other one in the punkbuster/htm folder. I even put them strait in the punkbuster folder, but still got kicked out. I Uninstalled punkbuster/rebooted/reinstalled/updated manually and still am getting kicked out. I have no antivirus programs etc. I ended all processes except the windows ones. Windows firewall is set to unblock punkbuster and COD5. I even disabled the firewall, but this is still happening. I have the most recent patch for the game installed. Im out of ideas...... The last thing I didnt try was reinstalling the game, but it cant be the game can it? help

Well, have you updated to the current patch 1.2?

And I have it on, because PunkBuster automatically updates during game, so you need to enable downloading.

Now you have me wondering about this patch. Im almost sure. but 1.2 doesnt look familiar. Its possible i might have v1.1. Ill let ya know... If not I will enable downloading and see what happens. From what your saying, punkbuster updates its pb files through the game itself right? But i updated the files automatically when the problem still pursists, downloading enable or not. Unless downloading needs to be enabled so that punkbuster can verify what pb files are installed or if pb is enabled?

You need to download the new patch. 1.2

I had the most recent patch 1.2. I turned on the downloading option in multiplayer options and I dont get kicked anymore.

Well there you go. Always make sure your update with the patchs, makes your work alot shorter.

Yes as with any punkbuster enabled game you must have PB enabled and auto update on or when the next update comes out it will kick you!!

I didnt know the download option was for pb. I thought it was only for server moded files.
