hi all!

i guess a lot of players got massive performance issues with the new cod:ghost for pc steam version...

i can't fu**ing believe they released the game as poorly optimized port from consoles like always but this time i couldn't believe that the game utilizes 100% mem usage(thats 4gb of vrm on my msi gtx770)and 0%gpu usage!!!????????
i noticed it by watching gadget gpu monitor and confirmed it with msi afterburner!
im usin latest geforce drivers 331.65

how does the game run on your rig?

p.s.battlefield4(graphics are 10 times better then ghosts)runs on my pc everything on ultra, vsync on 60fps without a drop and resolution 1920x1080!!!:banghead::banghead::banghead:

I just checked, GPU load shows properly in single player on GTX Titan + GPU-Z.

After I closed FRAPS (which messed with mouse sensitivity), I finished the single player without any crash or issues. Had minor graphics corruption in one level, but didn't affect gameplay.

I had more crashes playing BF4 single player.

yikes, i wanted to get my hands on it too but might fall back for now...

anyone else??

all my other games run with no problems at all, no bsods no problems at all

Yes,It runs like shit.

I tested it out last night was all laggy/choppy/blurry.

horrible on both my rigs...

wizz whats your perfcap reason(gpu-z) on drivers 331.65? i noticed mine is vOp, yet on drivers 331.58 it was vRel!? it's changing with drivers or? wich perfcap is the best/safest?

My rig result

Well,i just installed COD Ghosts (preordered, but had to wait for 8 gigs upgrade) and now running on the following:

Q9550 @ 3.4
P43DE3 mobo w/ 8 gigs DDR3 12800 ripjaws
EVGA GTX 660 superclocked(?)
Runs on high settings at 1680x1050 no lag (I did up some params too, but did not try the highest settings).

However when cod ghost was first installed/played, it was on my 1920x1200 monitor which may have been just high settings without tweaks to vid params, didn't notice any lags, probably bc I wasn't paying attention.

Same for BF4, but i did run it on ultra for a bit until i noticed some lag, but that was with my old 4 gigs. Will try later with the new ram. Very nice consider the cpu and mobo is over 4 years old. My old 4 gigs worked until I needed more ram for cod. Btw, I replaced my old GTX 260 for the GTX 660 ($151 with 2 games @ newegg) since cod and bf needed dx11.

Also tried my laptop, i ran BF4 at high at 1920x1080, but only for a few mins, didn't bother to tweak vid settings. Laptop specs:

I7 3630qm
GTX 660m
16 gigs 12800 ddr3
Have yet to try COD ghosts on it.

Both system running latest vid drivers, ver 331?

Looks like my son's m11x will not run these games due to dx11 requirements.

runs fine with new drivers

I had serious artifacts in one of the levels near the end of my first play through while running Fraps just for the FPS counter. I thought it might have been my having 6GB RAM and/or the Fraps overlay (there have been problems with the Steam overlay).

I rebooted and launched the game without Fraps and the problem went away. I suspect it was just the Fraps overlay because I've read in testing the game uses no more than 2GB RAM.

In my experience though, once you eliminate the extraneous problems, the game itself is very well optimized, and I still prefer the campaign to that of BF4.

770 2gb with 331,65 started a campaign : GPU: 99% GPU mem: 97,8% CPU avg: 79,8% (82/96/81/74) for the moment its smooth and stable i will see as i go further in the campaign.

i had no crash in BF4 campaign from start to end (high and ultra)
