COD4 Language pack help?!?!?!

I live in europe right now but speak english. I recently bought COD4 and Gears of war, but both games come in native german with no option to change the language. I was able to find a download for the english files for gears of war and that works fine, but I will be damned if I can find one for COD4? Does anyone know how or where I can change the language for COD4? really makes it a beee-ach trying to play it online when you dont understand anything its saying.

did you ever figure out how to change the language back to English?

I have the same problem.

I am traveling to the U.S. in a couple of weeks. I could bring my HD, remove CoD4 from Steam and re-install in the U.S.

Maybe that would work??
