COD5 - coop Punkbuster not working...

For some reason I can't enable punkbuster in cooperative. Which means I only get like 5 servers, instead of over 100... :(

When I go to cooperative options and set punkbuster to "yes" it just changes to no once I reboot. Also, COD5 must need a reboot to start punkbuster, because I am still only getting the non-punkbuster servers.

I have tried pbsetup, and it says COD5 punkbuster is up to date. I can play the normal multiplayer with punkbuster fine... So not sure what the problem is... :shadedshu

You may need to Remove Both COD 5 (Make sure to save your Profile) and also Remove Punkbuster (Bitch to remove fully but it is actually possible as ive done it) Reinstall the game with all the patches then Update punkbuster using a fresh version of PBSetup.

Yeah, I'm actually uninstalling it right now. I'll post if I get it running normally.

Wow, this is very weird.

I re-installed, ran the single player before patching. And punkbuster worked with coop (stayed on 'yes').

So, I patched to 1.3, and, go figure, it goes back to resetting to 'no' and the servers listed are the handful that don't have PB enabled...

Now I'm thinking maybe the patches I got have something wrong with them.... If anyone has COD:WAW updated to 1.3, is your singleplayer exe 7,262,208 bytes on disk when you right click and check properties?

Edit: Also, creating brand new profile does not fix the problem either... :(

I just caught something the 1.3 patch is a 1.2-1.3 patch, meaning you need to have the 1.2 Patch installed first, thats how COD4s final patches were.

http://www.fileshack.com/file.x/13836/Call+of+Duty:+World+at+War+Patch+1.3

Fixed EXE- backup the SP and MP exes by making copies and putting into separate folder

Yeah, I did do the 1.2, followed by 1.2-1.3 patch. I also tried the vitality no-cd thinking it might be the executable that was an issue. No luck though. :(

Thanks for looking though, I appreciate it. ;)
