I had running comodo privdog for a while on chrome and internet explorer, now after windows updates I had to restart my laptop which I did. I started up chrome and it said that it disabled the privdog extension because it was dangerous! Never had any problems before. I'm unable to enable privdog now in chrome.
I also tried to download privdog and google blocked it from opening it saying it was dangerous.
Anyone else having problems with comodo privdog?

I tested the download of it on IE and had no problems... Google did not block it.

However, Chrome has had some changes recently and this is why you, maybe, are having a problem... Privdog is not provided by the Chrome Store, I believe.

From now on, to protect Windows users from this kind of attack, extensions can be installed only if they're hosted on the Chrome Web Store. With this change, extensions that were previously installed may be automatically disabled and cannot be re-enabled or re-installed until they're hosted in the Chrome Web Store.

Yes thats correct, privdog is not provided in the chrome store.
But privdog does merely block some ads (possibly from google too...) and tracking cookies.
