Well as I awoke this morning I heard my computer restarting doing the beep then go to windows and when it gets to the windows blue screen, reboots again. I shut it off by the power button and left it off for about 10 mins and started it up and booted up fine and about 20 mins later, started a new cycle of reboots and I shut it off agian and now its STAYING off, push button and nothing. And Im thinkin I blew another PSU while I was sleepin, as wierd as it sounds it might be true......:shadedshu

I might have something to do with the $20 power supply you splurged on.

Hmm that is odd.
It could be the PSU or it could be the Mobo or RAM.
Try doing a MemTest and see if anything comes up.

Look at his specs, he's using a $20 A-Power power supply - his second one apparently. It's the power supply.

It doesnt boot up at all, push power button and nothing......Thats why I think the PSU was dying because it would just reboot, and if it is the mem, I have some new comin this week

I don't care if you spent $200, A-POwer is garbage and these symptoms are exactly what it sounds like.

Here it is for $15.

I'm with Overcast on this one.I wouldn't use that to power a x386 system.

Oh I know, but like I said it is a FILLER!
I DON'T CARE IF IT'S A FILLER. IF I USED A BANANA AS THE POWER SUPPLY, FOR A "FILLER". IT STILL WOULDN'T WORK WOULD IT?

Oh and by the way, I just remembered it was a christmas present. my mom heard my computer was down and gave me $50 to get one and I got this one as I didnt want to wait to order one off the net, local computer shop special, not all of us have money just to spend out our asses for a good name brand PSU.

dude...you could have gotten a reliable thermaltake 420w watter for like $45 shipped...

I ordered my memory before this blew so the A-Crap PSU is gonna get exchanged until I sell my old memory and buy the Thermaltake in the above post, thanx for the help all!

I think the thermaltake should be enough power for now, but until I get that one in, the local computer shop gave me a used 650W PSU that is REAL loud lol
