so yesterday i was playing TLOU the 2nd time i ran it it hanged my pc after loading screen in menu nothing would happen if i press the restart button then i did hard shutdown by holding power button

now it either stops responding at black screen before bios, windows loading circle, or when instantly when booted into windows, same thing happens in bios menu and boot menu,

I took out my gpu first before that i tried removing all storage except my boot drive, all drives show up fine, i did this first because once it hanged hdd light was stable so i thought it has something to do with a specific drive.

It wasn't even showing display so i took out the cmos battery and it put it in 5 minutes later but that didn't as well as pc froze on the message screen that bios have been reset.

I am out of mind what could be wrong, im guessing it's my motherboard because it was repaired recently and that wasn't done properly which caused random reboots (on rare occasions) and high power usage / reading (faulty sensor or circuit problem) for gpu but it could be my ram or cpu as well

What was the issue with the motherboard that needed repair?

When the computer locks up, does the capslock light respond when you hit the key?

my bet is it's the CPU, but the RAM might be easiest/cheapest to test first

tbh i didn't try capslock but my num lock on my computer is turned on at boot and when i press it again nothing happens, the lights stays on

you were right it's the cpu my brother diagnosed it and it shows cpu debug led which he couldn't fix
my brother has reached to a conclusion that it's my psu which is the culprit because all 3 cpus that have died are all under this cheap local branded psu, also have cm mwe 450w unit which started having restart so i switch to this one

wow nice to know that it can be the CPU in that case.
It's not necessarily the CPU, it could be the RAM as well, but it could not be the GPU/data drives.

i am sick of so many troubles im facing with PCs, going down one after another :(

A bad PSU can do a lot of damage unfortunately and if your country has a unreliable electric network it's even worse (very bad combo).

1050 ti works now, btw electricity in my country is fine it's just that this old house has gibberish quality cables and wiring

A UPS might be a good buy for you.
They are not expensive and they help a ton is situations like that.
