i was playing GOW my pc was fine that night before i went to sleep the next day my computer won't display anything i wondered what be the issue but i took no action later i am seeing it is not posting at all, i wonder if there's a short somewhere but i checked cables they all seem snug and tight so im guessing it could my psu or cpu, former because mobo turns on for a fraction of sec. and latter i had extremely tight ram timings. i tried a different ram stick too but no luck.

What brand / type power supply.
Most come with a simple tester that you attach to the end or use this guide.

Always start with the power supply and move on from there.

If that proves to be fine a cmos clear on your mb can default your ram and mb settings to get you to post.

Best of luck.
