So I recently bought a new PS5 controller for fps gaming, however its been sometime since ive been on controller. In the best I tried to switch and no controller I ever bought would work right. On the right stick that you use for aiming. Its almost like the right stick isnt true to what I inputing. The smallest over adjustment and my cameras go wild. Beings that every controller has done this surely this is a problem with my pc?

Just doesn't feel like I can be accurate at all with the sticks unless I'm babying the thing.

I can't recall the name, but there is software that will let you adjust dead ones and such. At least I know it worked for Xbox controllers, might work for you as well.

Yeah it's called Xbox accessories. Shouldn't need to adjust the deadzone for every controller. I think something else is wrong.

Check the control panel

Use the calibration in there

Already tried that and it feels the same all controllers do this.

Did you switch to PS5 controller on the settings on steam? That should have everything configured. Older ones are more complicated, PS5 should just work.

Yes I have I even have tried calibrating it there. I wonder if I have a bad PSU or something. Lol such a shot In the dark. I have replaced everything In my PC besides that lol

i use an xbox one, but i'm pretty sure the PS5 just works as is. The only thing i can remember is if you have some app working against it. Do you installed any controllers apps in the past, xinput or something like that?
