i want to purchase Cooler master GX 750w.i dont know much about Single Rail dual or Quad Rail:).but precious PSU i had was 12v1 12v2 both at 20 amp and 36 amp combined..i don't know this thing also but Cooler master i want to purchase is GX 750w is single 12v rail but 60 amp :eek:.i google about single rail and lots of amp but it was just like:banghead:.can you help me that it is good PSU i m plaing to buy R9 290 or 7990 or equal to Nvidia i thin 2 6+2 connector remoneded.

That PSU is fine for those cards.

Multirail PSUs were developed because older Intel's ATX specifications mandated a maximum of 20? 22? (can't recall the exact value right now) amperes per rail but the spec has changed since then. There's still multirail PSUs around, specially on the low end, because making several low power 12V rails is easier/cheaper than making a strong 12V rail.
 
I have selected xigmatek centuro 800w it also have 58amp on single 12v rail but i m afraid that i have 7870 which recomends 36amp on 12v rail and this psu 58 amps it will be okay?coz someone told me that votage hurt amps don't. Is it true?
 
The "recommendation" it's just that, a recommendation, they're not grounded in reality. Manufacturers can't possibly know the amount of hardware you have installed so they go overboard with their recommendations just in case. Better to say that a 7870 needs a 600w PSU (it doesn't) than saying a 350w PSU is fine and then you fry yours trying to run 12 HDDs, 20 fans, 8 sticks of RAM and dual eight core processors.

My 8350 @ 4.4Ghz + my 7970 @ 1100/1600 don't go above 365w.

what @TRWOV say is true ... look at my system even with a 650w i am quite above the 90% load (522w recommended and around 472w minimum), considering 2xDDR3 a i5 4790K 6fan (all led) a 12v pump a AIO H60V2 (soon to be replaced) 2HDD 7200rpm a RAM cooler with a 60mm fan and a SSD (and still have headroom for cpu/gpu OC) since a 90% load never occurs (even less for a 100% load unless you stress test it like a madman )
a 750w and above would be for my same configuration but in CrossfireX

even your 600w Enermax could hold a 290 (if not too old)

also ran that 290 with a FX6300 configuration (same setup except mobo and cpu)
 
Which psu you prefer single rail or multi rail?
 
I have been using multi rail with cards in crossfire
