For this post I utilized a paraphraser since I as well posted on Reddit (a non-paraphrased version is the 3rd comment):

Inside the Inspera demo I utilized CTRL+V/CTRL+SHIFT+V/SHIFT+INSERT and it worked, be that since it may Inspera proposes clicking on their paste button (i.e. Utilizing their text editor) since CTRL+V/CTRL+SHIFT+V/SHIFT+INSERT might not ceaselessly work or duplicate in wingdings. I endeavored this, but it says my browser does not agree with this work (I endeavored updated adjustments of Chrome/Edge/Firefox on 2 Windows computers).

I would like to have this technique as an elective in case CTRL+V/CTRL+SHIFT+V/SHIFT+INSERT (from my personal notes which is allowed for my exam) doesn't work (I in extension had issues inside the center of an Acctg invigilated exam within the past year, in show up loathe toward of the reality that not to do with copy/paste, so am on edge around online exams). Too inside the event that CTRL+V/CTRL+SHIFT+V/SHIFT+INSERT don't work amid the exam or copies in wingdings, is there any way to settle that?

This is just a guess.
Probably, because they don't want you to use a paraphraser on your exams!
You should create your own work; and not plagiarize someone else's works.

You what?

@Bill_Bright @stinger608

In the Inspera demo I used CTRL+V/CTRL+SHIFT+V/SHIFT+INSERT and it worked, however Inspera recommends clicking on their paste button (i.e. Using their text editor) because CTRL+V/CTRL+SHIFT+V/SHIFT+INSERT might not always work or copy in wingdings. I tried this, but it says my browser does not support this function (I tried updated versions of Chrome/Edge/Firefox on 2 Windows computers).

I would like to have this method as an option in case CTRL+V/CTRL+SHIFT+V/SHIFT+INSERT (from my own notes which is allowed for my exam) doesn't work (I also had problems during an Accounting invigilated exam last year, although not to do with copy/paste, so am anxious about online exams).
Also if CTRL+V/CTRL+SHIFT+V/SHIFT+INSERT doesn't work in the exam or copies in wingdings, is there any way to fix that?

My original post was confusing. I was asking about copy/pasting my own notes (via the toolbar) not working or sometimes copying in Wingdings (CTRL+V/CTRL+SHIFT+V work). Copy/pasting our own notes is allowed.

Well some sites can block CTRL-C+V. Acedemic sites do this a lot. If you really want to paste you could always try SHIFT+INSERT which cannot be.

The site allows CTRL-C+V, but sometimes it glitches. I tried SHIFT+INSERT and it worked as well. Thanks! So now I have 3 options, hopefully 1 will work in the exam.

I tend to use screenshots and Google lens when I can't copy something from a website if I can't even take a screenshot I take a photo and use Google lens.

There's a way around everything

Hi, my post was more about copying and pasting text from Microsoft Word to an online exam. And we can't copy/paste our answers as screenshots, it has to be text. Thanks.

What I meant was taking a screenshot then using a text program to convert the screenshot to a text that can be pasted

Another approach is to right-click "inspect", which will open the html source code inspector, from which you can fish out the content easily, no matter what they do

I have used 'Inspect' before, but in this context, what would I be fishing out?

Most online text editors are garbage. Not to mention there's a chance something unexpected could happen. So OP writes his online exam answers offline in MS Word. But the same online exam sites don't let him paste the answer.
Whatever you want to copy?

Maybe it's because the examiners want to see how fast you can type or maybe it's part of the exam and a problem solving task.

Google lense has been a god send as far as a text editor especially when translating documents from Thai, ok translation isn't perfect but you can understand the gist of it which is a lot easier than trying to learn a language that has 72 letters in it's alphabet and looks like this โชคดี.

How about copying the text to macro if it doesn't work

If the website records individual keystrokes and hot keys don't work a macro might be the answer

ooh now i understand, you want to paste .. this is more complicated indeed, try something like autoit or autohotkey to simulate keystrokes from whatever is inthe clipboard

Mine is slowed down so I can interface with IPMI BMCs but this is my script for AHK

Code:
; Autohotkey ipmi paste alt-shift-v
;  ^+v:: is ctrl+shift+v
;  !+v::  is alt-shift-v    <--- THIS ONE IS LIVE
; ctrl shift v was interfering with goog docs paste
!+v::
SetKeyDelay, 180
SendRaw %clipboard%
Return

FYI @technoob95 you should not EDIT the OP to include the answers in the thread as things that did not initially work. Especially if you didn't know about them until someone responded. This is not coherent (like the rest of the OP) and confuses the readers.

Yeah, pasting sucks so much on these, actually almost everything sucks about the current ipmi implementations, impressive how they can make something so essential so terrible

Maybe if the exam subject was Computers, but it is an Arts paper. The questions are our interpretation of the content and the lecturer has basically given us the questions and told us to copy/paste (the exam website doesn't block copy/paste so he said he might as well tell everybody so it is an even playing field).

How do you copy to macro? Also, how do you then copy to the exam?

By "simulate keystrokes...from the clipboard" do you mean so I can use the clipboard?

If so, I can click 'paste' on the clipboard, but it just says my browser does not support this function (I tried updated versions of Chrome/Edge/Firefox on 2 Windows computers).

Just to clarify, for the original post I used a paraphraser in case it got deleted as spam (I also posted on Reddit).
