Seems like there's a cool new file server hosting program on the block. Fully featured all in one python file and runs on just about anything that can run python too.
might be time to dust off my old media server

Ummm, "cool"? Perhaps. But it was first released Jan 19, 2020 so not sure I would call it "new".

Maybe so but it didn't gain maturity as a project until very recently.

On another note, a friend of mine who set it up said it takes as long as figuring out config files and directory structure does on other services like Nextcloud and Seafile. Pretty easy to setup and use for for a home hobbyist but I don't know about using it in a production environment.
