Hi all, since finding out core temp is giving much more acurate temperature readings from my cpu cores than speedfan, I am trying to work out if its possible to send the temperature readings from Core Temp to my lcd display software.

I currently use lcdsmartie ( http://lcdsmartie.sourceforge.net/ ) to display temperatures from speedfan onto my display, and am wondering if any1 knows if its possible to do the same with Core temp, as that would be so handy

Cheers,

Mand

Isn't it possible to get Everest to work on your lcd.
Works great on my G15 keyboard.

hmmm, I didnt realise that, i cant find an everest plugin for lcd smartie, but do u know of another lcd program that may work?

cheers bud

You can always try with Everest. Maybe the G15 support works also for your lcd.

unfortunatly everest just supports the particular display, bah..

Ahh. That's bad. I'm not so in to lcd's, so i really can't give you any advise on this one.
Have you tried google?

its cool bro, i found a somewhat "inneficient"solution. I just offset the core0 temp reading on speedfan by -3C, its not perfect, but close enuff methinks, not as responsive either, but it reads close enough to be functional

Better then nothing.:)

I have the Aerocool frontpanel. That thing is a joke when it comes to reading temps.
It's of more then 10 degrees sometimes.:nutkick:
But it looks cool.:D
