CPU Cooler Heatpipe touching GPU - safe?

Hi all

I'm putting together my new build which has a Zotac z68 mini ITX motherboard and an Enermax ETD-T60 CPU cooler. I read up on the board before buying the setup and there was only mention of large CPU coolers interfering with RAM, so I solved that by buying low profile RAM.

Now that I have everything and have tried to put it together I have realised that a bigger problem is with the CPU cooler and GPU.

There is only one way which I can fit the CPU cooler and GPU in, and that is with the four heatpipes which protrude out facing the GPU. The only problem is that the edge of two of the heatpipes touch the back of the graphics card.

This doesn't appear very safe to me...but the heatpipe is just a heatpipe right? There is no electricity going through it? If I put a layer or two of duct tape around the heatpipes would that insulate them enough? Or am I risking frying the GPU?

Thanks!

Duct tape has metal. Dont use it. Get a different CPU cooler or use something non conductive

just add clear tape on that, and you done
