i tried clock mod with throttlestop but it did the same thing againHmm, I'm not certain how effective that Windows Power Plan setting is if another piece of software asks for more frequency. You may be better off with something like ThrottleStop or Intel Extreme Tuning Utility to control the processor speed, assuming that CPU is compatible with either program.
