Since i just got my water cooling setup,i just wondered if we could have a thread were people just post their cooler air/water/exotic and min/max temps?

Like-

Water cooling-min 31c/max 40c

yes ,good idea.but with more info eg:Water cooling, ambient temp, fan speed(manufacterer ref),pump speed, cpu fsb stock speed, cpu Vcore stock, cpu Tcase temp

too much information to crunch - but if you have the time to do it sure, why not.

Thanks ;)

E8400 @ 4GHz (vCore real: 1.432)
Thermalright Ultra 120 (unlapped)
AC Ryan Blackfire 4 fan
TIM: MX-2

idle: 36°C
load (orthos): 58°C
load (linpack): 74°C

If you really wanna find out your max temp, then try this little prog: http://www.xtremesystems.org/FORUMS/showthread.php?t=197835

Warning, if you have insufficient cooling then it may just roast your CPU!

(works on intel CPUs only)

Desktop E4300 1.8Ghz running stable at 3.0Ghz--

cpu Vcore (oc'd) 1.32V
Core temp 44 °C Idle
Core temp 59°C load

ambient temp 29°C (Malta summer!! :) )
cpu fsb (oc'd) 334 Mhz
CPU cooler Zalman CNPS9500
1 x 120mm fan intake
1 x 80mm fan intake
1 x 80mm exhaust

Laptop Q9450 2.66Ghz
running at stock clock and voltages --

Core temp 56 °C Idle
Core temp 67°C load

ambient temp 29°C
Notebook cooler Zalman NC2000

Duh :banghead: the temperatures appear scarily high for me but some say for notebooks that's normal  The notebook itself has 4 fans at the bottom (see my avatar) and the back end is basically one whole heatsink... I added to that the Zalman NC2000 notebook cooler so I don't know what else I can do to reduce this little monster's temperature...:ohwell:
