Hi,

1680028471620.png

I'm trying to do a backup of my C: drive but system image apparently clones everything, including some games on my C: drive that I don't want to clone and won't care if they get lost since I can always download them again.
There doesn't seem to be an option to change which folders are cloned and which aren't. Are there other tools to do this? or am I missing something in control panel?

Thanks.

Not really. Since all of this takes up space on the MFT (among other things).

you can take and imagine all or nothing

or

backup certain files/folders which will require a format and then a recovery of said files. (This generally breaks software installations)

I think some software USED to have a feature like that. I think paragon or maybe aoemi . But it caused more problems then it was worth because that’s not how data works.

Hi,
Folder imaging is not a free perk in any of the imaging ware and macirum reflect was the best but they killed the free offering but even it did not back/ image folders paid version did but I've never used it.

You'll have to look into apps like sync toy and see if it works for you.

Welp, I guess it's formatting and then manually installing and copying everything back, should something happen to the main drive.
Thanks for your inputs :toast:.

EDIT: Or maybe just move the unnecessary files to another drive, image the C: drive, move then back.
