hey guyz, im looking for the best 2.0 PC speaker system, Ive searched around and found the creative Gigaworks T-series (T20/T40) 2.0 speakers, they both look amazing specially the T40 and from what ive read they sound great too, not too much bass which is no problem with me (not saying i don't want bass), i currently got the creative inspiron 4.1 speaker system which sound great with extra bass from the sub-woofer, but still their taking alot of space on my desk and the cables are so messed up and most of the time i hook up 2 speakers instead of all 4, so what do you think T20 or T40, or is there any other options....

thanxx

I got the T40's on my 2nd rig... and they very nice speakers... crystal clear and great.... but my GF has the 2.0 logitech ones... not sure of the model but they are USB with an LCD poster screen... they have a bigger woofer which means more bass.... and they sound cleaner (and were cheaper).

also i think the logitechs look better... (have this touch screen interface...) id take those over my T40's again.

EDIT: the logitechs were called Z-10

Can't compare 2.0 with 2.1 - if properly built 2.1 will always give you more bass. Although "more" is not always equal with "better". I am a big fan of T20 speakers - assuming T40s sound only better. T20 produce unbelievable low end given their small dimensions. Unbelievable is such a stupid, overused word but I honestly had problems believing it was the set of T20s that produced that deep nice sound once I saw and heard them demoed in a store.
