Can you take two x1900gt and run them together for crossfire. I guessing since they dont have the hook up like specail video cards it will not require a dongle if I did so??? Anyone mind telling me before I make a shoppers mistake. Sorry If I'm tooo noob on this topic.

I personally don't know. You can google it. If you can't find out, then just get the X1800GTO and use 2 of them in CrossFire, and you don't need that dongle too.

Well I have had trouble finding my information but if you dont need a dongle for x1800gto the x1900gt may not require it aswell. I would prefer the x1900gt because of the potential power compared to anything else.

I haven't seen anything stating X1900GT can do dongleless crossfire. I have googled that topic heavily for the last 2 months before I got my X1800 master. If you don't hear anything, assume you cannot. So far, it has only been released that X1800GTO and down can do Crossfire with no dongle. IMO, you still get better performance using a Master so it was worth it to me. Just keep googling and you might find the answer you want.

although it is kinda old news, it was kinda hard to find: http://www.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=5983

quote: "the new ATI driver which is soon to be unleashed will now enable software crossfire up to X1900GT. This means no more hassle in having to find a master card, or an external cable."

Cant Wait ;)

I wouldn't hold my breathe on that one. Just look around and you'll see alot of people trying and very few succeeding even with X1800 GTO's.
