again, SPOILER WARNING

Right, so I get to the end where I "just" blow up the rather large attack ship with the tac cannon and make it onto the VTOL, then theres a cut scene and "its time to go back to the sphere" etc...

and then it bleedin ended!!

i was somewhat dissapointed tbh, anyone else find this game too short? (granted, it looks awesome, the characters look great, and that chic looks pretty nice too ;) )

I was expecting to at least to continue the fight in this game, not a sequel, bah..

Great game, shame about it being a wee bit short.. played it on the hardest setting and it was awesome, and gritty at times. but was really impressed with the visuals on the people, that female researchers tshirt looked sweet, as did the rest of the clothing on the other characters

that was the ending...

Doesn't playing Crysis on the hardest setting just make the AI basically talk in Korean? That is what I read, other then that there is no real tactical difference between the highest difficulty and the difficulty level below that.

correct, that and you get no grenade warnings, no help with binocular outlining enemies and probs a couple more things. If your gonna play the game, play it on the hardest setting and your garunteed a gritty fight for your life and one hellova hard slog, but is ultimately much more rewarding :)

 Man i finished that game in 6 hours on Highest Difficulty, on the date it got released, at the end when your flying back to the island to finish of the mother ship, is end of part 1, crysis is goin to be a 2-3 part game, like farcry

its a cliffhanger you monkeys
crysis is a trilogy so it must be wtf on ending on the first part

QFT.
"We are going back to the island" - I rubbed my hands and said: ok, let's kick some more alien ass. Then the staff credits came flying in and I wanted to kick some staff ass...

So Crysis is a Trilogy? interessting, news to me. I guess since the engine is finished they will be released in shorter intervals - like 3 or 4 years between every part...

According to him, the developer's attention will be even more focused on graphics. There will be numerous improvements regarding textures (especially facial textures) and 3D-animations. Their ambitious aim is to push the game's visuals to an advanced level, that could be considered near photorealistic movie quality.
2012 there might even be hardware available to run it.
The f***ing graphics are fine! give as gameplay and story! I don't give a flying sh*t if every stone in the sea is normal mapped...

All games these day are to short because more time is spent on the graphics and not the game play

yeah obviously I know there will be a sequel, but it just felt like the sequel should have been after we went back and whooped some alien ass, like the fact that the aliens signalled for further invasion forces to arrive etc etc

This was way to short and for us, we prob will be waiting months by the sound of it for the sequel.. lol now if they wouldnt of stopped us dead in our tracks I wouldnt mine.. but I was like so this guy(your character) is a tuff guy eh.. ready to go back and kill some more aliens, yes to much of a tease... just as he started to get serious :P ohwell I guess thats how its done... I'll have to go find some other games to play :P I havent played to many fps games.

/endrant

Maybe by the time Crysis 2 comes out some overall engine, graphical, and resource utilization bugs would be almost fixed. Use the same damn engine, same graphics, it's fine. By that time there will be some hardware that will run it on very high just fine.

IMO the sunshafts are a tiny bit overdone at far off angles. They should probably fix that.
