If my motherboard takes PC3200 as standard, what would happen if I used PC4400 - would it be more overclockable?

Thanx... I wasn't sure - don't understand all this latency and CAS thing (yet!)

:)

Is it faster to have 2*1gb or 1*2gb sticks?

2x 1Gb

P.S. make sure you MOBO can take a 1GB or 2GB memory, as some cant., like with my LAN party rig, i wanted 2Gb of RAM, because my MOBO can only support upto 512Mb DIMM per memory socket, i was forced to use 4x 512Mb DIMMS

With 2x1GB sticks you can run them in Dual Channel with twice the bandwidth (128bit instead of 64bit interface), 1x2GB stick would be in Single Channel

Many thanx - off to eBay now for some bargain hunting!!!!!!!
