Haven't been on in a while, but anywho,

Me and my father are building a computer and i am pretty sure, but not 100% that you can use DDR2 800Mhz in a motherboard that tops out at DDR2 533Mhz. I thought that the memory would automatically downclock itself to the 533 level, all i need is comformation if i am wrong or if i am right..
THNX Stupid B!!

You are correct.

doubling up- you are correct. it will run at 533, and if the rams SPD modules have 533 listed, possibly at better timings than it would at 800.

THNX, all new DDR2 ram should have 533 listed under the supported speeds, unless you getta shitty brand right...

HAHAHAHA
