Cooling Big sink and fan
Memory 4GB
Video Card(s) 9600
Storage three , don't remember what they are
Display(s) Asus 22" wide
Case Xigmatek
Power Supply a good one
Just built a new computer, don't know much about overclocking, but i know what everything basically means, I'm just looking for some help getting my system to run smoother.

G.SKill ddr3 1866 f3-14900cl9d Newegg

Asus crosshair 5 formula newegg

black edition 1090T AMD newegg

EVGA GTX 460 1 GB

How should the bios look? right now i have it set to a default for the 1866 RAM but it still lags a bit while playing games, and with that equipment i shouldn't have any problems.

Also received a stop 0x01A screen the first time i tried to post this.

Thanks.

I am not familiar with your mobo.

You will most likely have better results if you manually set the timings to the rated: 9-10-9-28 at 2N or 2T. Leave other fields set to: Auto.

Also set the voltage manually to rated: 1.5v Stop 0x01A could be due to wrong voltage.

You may also have better results if you lower to 1600 and reduce 9-10-9-28 to lower #'s. Read the Newegg reviews to see what others are using for timing on that memory package.

Also read Gskill forum posts for that memory: http://www.gskill.us/forum/
