I am planning to upgrade to 2x16GB from my current 2x8gb ( Ripjaws DDR4 3600 @ 16-19-19 ). I am trying to find used b-die since there are no new ones available anymore. But its very hard to find one atleast in my country.
So I am thinking about settling at 3600 C18 kit. Is there any noticeable different if i go from c16 to c18 at 3600mhz? Is it worth to waste more time finding c16 kit now a days?

Not really, you pay more for 2 ns.

You might get 1.3% better framerates in CPU bound games. Or something along those lines. Huge difference, very noticeable.
In all seriousness - the difference will be margin of error.

Okey, Its time to hunt for C18 I guess. ty for the inputs.

If you tweak your ram B-die can give youva 5% boost when cpu-bound vs the next best (Hynix DJR/Micron rev E/B), vs worse dies like Hynix afr/ajr, Micron M, Samsung A etc you can gain 10%. Most of this is due to B-die being able to run really low rcd, rc and rfc-timings.

It wouldnt make sense to pay more for CL16 DDR4 anymore especially with 3D CPU, maybe check used market instead if you really want.
You can also just tune CL18s. I use mine at 3733 CL16. Fully tuned kits give measurable increase in games but differences between fully tuned kits vs other fully tuned kits are usually minimal as diminishing returns start to apply.
