I'm not in the market for one, but I am kind of digging that white one with the teal logo. Interesting design/looks overall.

That's quick. It wasn't very long ago that the original Assassin IV came out. Hopefully they fixed the fan resonance issue.

I am still baffled that cooler manufacturers have the balls to price their “premium” coolers at such points when, well, Thermalright exists. The Peerless Assassin is what, half the price? Sometimes even less? And it’s not like the mounting is a fuss or the fans are poor. Sure, might have some questions about the TIM that’s included, but throw in a tube of MX-6 and you’re still ahead in terms of savings. Same as AIOs being often priced above the Liquid Freezer for absolutely no discernible reason. Just a weird market all around.

Their Phantom Spirit Evo apparently has taken the crown among Thermalright bunch according to Tomshardware. Even that is sub $50 cooler even additional tube of thermalpaste.

The original ASSASSIN IV uses Roman numerals, while the 4S uses Arabic numerals. I guess they thought ASSASSIN IVS was indecipherable.

Im just glad it's not another @#$! AI story.

Shhh...don't say that too loud, lest you anger the AI bots, who will then reign their wrath down upon you :D

But OTOH, IF I were in the market for a coolah, I'd be really tempted to try this one, as I really like the aesthetics & design, especially the white one.

As an Assassin III owner, I was underwhelmed with the performance of the original IV. In the reviews I've seen it actually does worse than its predecessor. Perhaps this improved version can outdo the previous one?

Pricewise, surely there are better options out there. But at the very top, those few degrees could be the difference between boosting and thermal throttling.

Nice finished looks

i do like the look, very simple and clean.
have my Thermalright Peerless Assassin, that i can not complain about.

Wondering if the fan can be replaced or stuck what they give?
