hello, good day.
my dell e6540 can be fully overclocked in windows using throttle stop
powercut and all that magic.
however, I'm running Linux. since that wastes the least amount of performance. and sadly there is no throttle stop or anything like it on linux.
is there a way to still enable/hack some features throttle stop has to apply in Linux?
for example. powercut? (which is probably the most helpful in my case)
if I remember right a lot of the things throttlestop does are (direct?) calls to hardware so not really system depending?
my system has a dead GPU so the CPU has a lot of thermal headroom to work with (especially since I got a modded heatsink)
any ideas? thank you a lot in advance for your tips and advice!
