Dell Hardware Failure Detected

Hello, maybe someone can help me. I have a slightly older laptop (Alienware bought around 2016/17). It came on very slow recently and stated there was a change in the memory (press F1 to continue or F2 to enter system setup). After it started up, there was a Dell notification that the support assistant thinks there is a hardware failure. It tells me that the hard drive is failing. Since it's out of warranty, it recommended a new 2.5" HDD. I backed up the drive and purchased a new one. I cloned the drive and swapped it. The computer spins up normal speeds again, but it still has the message about the hardware failure (I also decided to clone and swap out the M.2 with a newer drive as well). Is there something I am missing? I highly doubt the cables are bad, but is that a thing? or is there an issue with my motherboard (although the computer says its the drive)? Additionally, I ran the windows check disk on the new drive and it doesn't find any errors. Should I ignore the dell support assistant?

I can give more specs if you need them. Any help is appreciated as I am basically a toddler when it comes to computers.

its honestly hard to diagnose without having hands on and your description of "hardware error" isnt really enough information to go on. If youre a toddler as you say you are then I recommend you take your laptop into a repair shop and have them look at it -- At least they'll have hands on and be able to diagnose and understand what the problem is.

Go to F2. there's a system diagnostics menu to check your hardware for failures. It may take a while if you have a lot of ram.
