Try going into your properties for your wireless/wired connection and changing the DNS server from automatic to one you specify.

I use 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (google)

Have done that once before I think but it has been a longggg time. I know there are multiple settings, what are they suppose to be?

EDIT: Upon entering the 8.8.8.8 I get "The network address entered is invalid"

It doesn't "have" to be anything. You can leave it to automatic if it works, I just use specific ones to get around some bogus blocking crap that was put in place where I am. Try 8.8.4.4

Under Properties for your network settings, select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), and at the bottom of the general tab you can change from automatic DNS or enter your own for Preferred and Alternate.

Like I said I use 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as they work for me and I know they are google's. You can try looking around for some other ones but they are the only ones I am familiar with.

Networking isn't really my strong suit, hopefully someone else can chime in.

The 8.8.4.4 is a no go either :/
