hi guys, i was thinking of buying diablo 3 when it comes out but is it like WOW in the sense that we have to pay a fee every month or do we just pay once??

From what I can find it's just a one of payment for the game, but if you also like WoW then I suggest you take a look at this offer. Buy 1 year of Wow & get Diablo III for free.

They've been having open beta weekends lately. Or if you donate like $10 you can get into all betas.. I dont have the exact link and the $ amount may be wrong.

It's €39 here. And most games go down to €29 after a couple of months.

You dont pay for a full year. They just want you to pay for WoW for a full 12 months..1 month at a time. Its not 1 huge payment. its called the "annual pass". Then you get D3

Incase you were wondering.

And no its not a monthly payment scheme like WoW...1 fee and you own it.

Not saying it will be monthly.. but you do have to login to there server to play.. and We all know they will not do that for long free.. I'd say the main single player game will be free.. but some where down the road i bet they want some money to maintain the servers.

No, they won't. The other fees may apply here is for the real money auction house. They haven't asked for a dime to keep logging into Starcraft 2.

Of course, I'd never put anything past Kotick.
