I have a Dell T3500 workstation that i like very much with 24gb memory (It can have 48gb if you choice the right memorys) It was a Nvidia Quadro Fx 3500 inside, it costed 1599$ in that time. It goes pretty warm in Windows 8.1 pro around 60-63 and up to 70 playing 4k video, or 67 when using mozilla much. It was worse when i got it, temps up to 80 with 17 years old paste. I applied new cooling paste (But a cheap one) What would you recommend for the best cooling? I think this card gets less cpu use playing 4k video, 10-20% 2.30ghz is there any reason to this when it is a calculation card. I also got a Nvidia Geforce GTX 660 with 20-30% 2.60ghz and a Asus gtx 560 ti 1gb. I want the best card for playing video and i think the Quadro one works best. But i may be wrong? I have a 6 core 2.40ghz Xeon E5645 server. Turbo should be on 2.67 but in Windows it shows up to 2.93.

I can't tell if those temps you're referencing are for the CPU or the GPU, but 70C is more than safe for either! And the GTX 660 you have will be the best card all-round for anything that you plan to do with it. Just make sure you install the appropriate drivers for whichever card you choose to get the best results
