While using my current computer, as I paint in Photoshop and CorelPainter, my system does not keep up with the paint strokes. The stokes continue to lag a few seconds after a few strokes. I have recently ordered a new tablet to a 660 Pro Tablet. My question is in using Photoshop and CorelPainter with a i7-4790S CPU @ 3.20 GHGz and 32.0 GB recently added a RTX 2080 Super graphics cards and still no change. I am thinking of a new system with the new AS Rock X570 Taichi with the Ryzen 3000, will this help in the studio work of digital painting? Will the RTX 2080 Super work with the X570 Taichi as a good system for its intended purpose? Any suggestions would be helpful...thanks

Odd I’m surprised that system can’t keep up.

I honestly can’t say a better machine will help you. I would have put this in gen software so the digital guys could take a look.

if your itching to upgrade your proposed system will be fine.

I'm going to guess it has more to do with storage in general or the scratch disk. Only time a see slow downs in photo editing is when they are set wrong or busy with things as simple as a background update.
