what do you think is this? just something trapped under the display or a semi dead pixel?

Looks more dirt to me, I'm no expert but I suppose that a dead pixel would look different.

i guess you're right. jscreenfix for example doesn't change anything and the pixel seems to shine through the dark spot in the bottom
 
Does it remain static when you scroll?
It's most likely dust that has worked it's way in to the screen.
Ages ago I saw a microscopic spider on my screen and tried to squish it, problem was it was between the glass and display so now I have a tiny black dot stuck on my screen, the remnant remains of a wee spider. :oops:

yes it is just like a dead pixel. a static little one pixel big black dot on the screen.
it is under the display
