Hey guys,i have strange display problem. It happens in games and when im watching videos,so in motion i get tiny little vertical lines on screen that pops and then dissapear, also i have high input lag and my mouse feels heavy. On idle image is clean and without any issues..
I tried 5 different cables, both hdmi and dp,also tried monitor on my old pc,and i get the same issue.
So that tells my its probably faulty monitor, but im confused because it only happens in games, videos, when there is motion on the screen nad because all my parts are brand new including monitor
If there is maybe some settings in windows or amd that i am missing before i send my monitor back?

i5 12400f
rx6600
b760m
Monitor is lg 24gn60r-b 144hz

Sounds like monitor, but have you tried an old confirmed working monitor and confirmed the issue doesn't persist on the new PC?

Yes, you have confirmed your monitor is at fault.

Do note that motion is not really "motion". It is just rapidly changing "still" images - a process that causes a rapid re-drawing of most of the display. A process your monitor seems to be having problems with.

Check your monitor's OSD (on-screen display) menu and if there is a "Reset to factory defaults" option, try that then see if the problem remains (just so you can say you tried everything). If problem still there, contact your retailer if still within their return policy time limit. If that time has lapsed, contact the monitor's tech support for an RMA replacement.

One must never assume that because something is brand new, it cannot be bad. In fact, when it comes to electronics in general, when it fails prematurely, it typically fails when new.

Keep us posted.

I already did factory reset,so i will probably send it back in couple of days, thanks for info

Sounds like a plan.

In the meantime, if you don't have a spare monitor to use and enjoy your new computer, note that most TVs made in the last 10+ years also support computer input.
