Do you use Blend or Small FFT/CPU test in prime95/orthos?

I've always just used the Blend testing and never realized how much hotter the Small FFT test makes the chip, and that's with overclocking experience since back with the Celeron 366. I wanna what people's results are like when running the Small FFTs/CPU stress testing.

in orthos I use small fft, as blend I have read incorperated the HDDs somehow and could make it crash.

I use prime95, OCCT, and Orthos for just CPU... Memtest 86+ on CD to check ram.

OCCT has a couple options for just your CPU thats what I use for my stability tests.

yes OCCT 3.0 IMHO is way better for testing stability these days. Multiple testing methods, includes a GPU test, and has nice charts to verify voltage stability while the test was run.

Yes, I have also been using OCCT. I think it generates more heat than even Orthos on Small FFTs. I'm roasting my system as it is, so I'll wait til I get a better cooler. 3.8GHz simply isn't gonna happen with stock cooling, it's hitting 75C and rising. Back to 3.67.

I use both Prime95 SmallFTT(4-8hours) and Blend(8-10hours).
