Hello.
Installed windows 11 with all updates. GPU-Z downloaded the latest version. The program just won't start. There are no errors or warnings, it just doesn't respond to startup.
I7-12700/Gigabyte z690ud/32 ddr4/samsung 970 Evo plus/asus 3060ti dual.
What could be the problem?

It could be almost anything and I suspect the only person that will be able to help you is the GPUZ developer. Are any programs able to report your 3060 Ti? Which version of the NVidia drivers are installed? Is core isolation enabled and if so what happens when you disable it?

You could try the GPUZ 2.45.1 attached to https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/gpuz-2-45-0-causes-bsods.293760/#post-4735314 and see if it does any better.

With my own software I have command line qualifiers that can be used to trace what happens on start-up, but I don't know is GPUZ has similar. I guess you could look at it with with Process Explorer and see if it provides any clues. I just looked and got as below, if you created a full dump and posted that the GPUZ developer should be able to tell where it's stuck.

You could also check if the GPUZ driver has started OK, from an admin command window do sc query GPU-Z-v2 to do this.

GPUZ should have closed these handles.png

In passing I noted GPUZ has handles to <Non-existent Process> and suspect it should have closed these.

Do you see the splash screen? Any antivirus (besides Windows Defender)? Other applications work fine?

No. I click twice. The cursor spins for a second and that's it. Antivirus Nod32. Other programs and games work (CPU-Z, Aida64, hwinfo64 work). When I get home I'll try the methods from the message above.

Try to disable NOD32 and see if it makes any difference

Here is GPU-Z (V2.245) working fine under W11 and NOD32 (V15.1.12)

I do not understand. Did not do anything. I came home from work, turned on the PC - the program started working.
