Does Windows 10 not make notification sound when connect/disconnect USB 2 port?

With what type of usb device ?
Flash drive/ mouse/...
Safe to remove is hit and miss on if it will show up on action center.
Autoplay is another thing that may effect alerts which I typically turn off along with system sounds they are so annoying.

I tested phone, printer and keyboard/mouse receiver so it looks like anything.
If I connect phone to USB 3 port, it makes connect notification sound and phone window automatically appear. But if I connect it to USB 2 port, I don't hear connect notification sound and phone window doesn't automatically appear but USB 2 port is working. So is my Windows 10 abnormal?

Well a phone would be autoplay you'd also likely get a popup on the phone asking if you want to trust the device your connecting to.
Not getting all this on usb2 ?
I'd bet the popup on the phone is still happening I'd hope
If not the phone may have just used the usb in charging mode ?
Other devices mouse/.. those would verify a driver I've never really gotten a sound for that but I'd get more of a device is ready for use popup message.
