I just started a bot game to do this test.
If you use the same graphics settings and look at your FPS in the same location, then the results give a good picture of the general performance.

You can find the test on this page. https://store.steampowered.com/app/570/Dota_2/
Please include your specific hardware and software when you post.

Although I use an i5-12600K, I score similar to if I were using an i9-13900K with the same GPU:

Result: 225 FPS

Hardware: Intel 12600KF (stock) -- Kingston 6200 MHz CL36 -- Sapphire RX 7600 -- BIOSTAR B760MZ-E PRO -- Antec P6 -- Xilence XP550 -- ARCTIC i35 -- EVO 850 500GB
Software: Alpine Linux, bspwm (X window system), Mesa open-source driver

This result is directly comparable to the result from my first post.
The only difference is that I am using bspwm instead of KDE Plasma. I'm using bspwm without a compositor.

bspwm is +- 2.74% faster than KDE Plasma in Dota 2.
In my first post I also mentioned the performance of an RX 7600 + i9 13900K setup and it achieves 107 FPS for the 1% values. I feel like these values could be better on my specific setup.

I wanted to give it a try just for the reference, but I never played Dota, nor I'm interested to. But I'm curious how it works on X3D in comparison to your setup. Downloading >50GB just for the sake of testing something isn't an option over my ADSL. I'd need like 24 hours for DL. Am I missing something?

Don't download it if you have slow internet. Many persons have fast internet. And more than 100 million gamers have this in their Steam library.

I have it in the library as well. :D Never really found any friends to play it with...

When I test it on Calculate Linux on the same hardware I get different results depending on the tool I use to measure the FPS.

1. Settings > Options > Advanced Options > Display Network Information
Result: 21x-22x FPS

2. console > cl_showfps 1
Result: 239-241 FPS

Hardware: Intel 12600KF (stock) -- Kingston 6200 MHz CL36 -- Sapphire RX 7600 -- BIOSTAR B760MZ-E PRO -- Antec P6 -- Xilence XP550 -- ARCTIC i35 -- EVO 850 500GB
Software: Calculate Linux, KDE Plasma, Mesa open-source driver, XFS file system, native Steam

These are the results I see when using the native Steam client.
I'm not using the Flatpak client for these latest results.

It seems like I might be able to get over 240 FPS if this FPS limit were disabled.

This 240 FPS results applies to 1080p at the highest possible settings.

When I set the FPS limit to 120 FPS, the console tool says that I get 119 FPS.
I assume this console tool is more accurate than the 'Display Network Information' tool.

This would mean I get 240 FPS on the highest settings.
