I installed windows 64 bit after I blew up my computer and ordered extra ram in case the stuff I had was fried. Heard 4gigs wasn't really utilized in anything under a 64 bit install.
The install was over a 32 bit windows install and turned into 4 hours with microsoft and I ended up having to do a quick format on the hd anyway.
Problem is that format didn't catch/wipe all of the 32 bit system off somehow. I downloaded some optimized drivers for 64 bit vista for my 8800 and my system wouldn't take them, it thought this was a 32 bit system still. Anyone have any ideas as to how to fix this?
