Guys ive just got a second monitor display and its all fine i can drag my mouse over on the secondery display and icon but how can i stretch the task bar all the way to the secondery to make it as if it just 1 monitor ^^ if u know what i mean . im using window vista 64 bit btw its a 260gtx with 2 dvi ports

Hey Leebruce, I am not sure if there are other ways, but I currently have dual monitors and I use a program called UltraMon. It is a fantastic program, and you can do multiple things with it, including opening programs with key strokes :]
This is not a free program...But I will let you decide weather you want to pay for it or not lol.
Also you might want to check if it will run on Vista :] Good luck.
Once again, I can’t say enough about how happy I am with this program.

Conflict.

Yeah vista can't do Horizontal span like XP could, thats the only thing I hate about Vista. The only way you can get the task bar to span is by software like Ultramon mentioned above. Also if you want games to span across both screen you have to find a way to manual specify the resolution and that won't work all the time.

Trust me, don't waste your time searching for ways to get it to span. I myself spent a good week trying to get it to span in Vista and just wasted my time.

Another vote for Ultramon. Brilliant piece of software. Been using it for a good 3 years now since I got a 2nd monitor. Won't be without it now.

Good to see :]
