dvd to avi program

im looking for a good bit of software that can backup my dvds so needs to get passed the copy right and also have some good features so i can choose the size i want and the quality!!!

any ideas??

First off you'll probably need AnyDVD which allows you to get past the copy protection on most dvds.

Then look for a program called DVD Rebuilder which you can get at http://www.jdobbs.com/

DVDFab Platinum will convert dvd's for you, but it costs. And you don't need anything to get past copy protection, it does it automatically.

personally, i use dvd-decryptor for the rippin, dr. divx for teh encodin.
