In fact, a lot of DX10 games are delayed. Crysis and Flight Simulator X have both pushed off their release dates to at least late Q1 07, if not Q2 or Q3. The main reason behind this is the lack of DX10 hardware support for these games, and we will be lucky if there is a DX10 beta of Flight Simulator X on the launch day of Windows Vista.

They delay the games, 'cause there is no hardware and the hardware, because there are no games xD Oh how I remember last autumn every forum was filled with "don't buy directx 9 hardware, DX10 is here!" yeah, sure it is :) <3 my DX9 stuff.

And people are running to DX10 cards as soon as they are released. LOL, pure ownage :nutkick: !! Now, will you actually wait until there are DX10 game on the market to BUY this time or continue in this foolish behavior of buying hardware with no games to support it!

What's my problem, you may ask? Because DX10 maybe DX10.1 or DX10.2 with some major changes by Q4 2007 so hold your horses.

FSX is out and has been for some time now.

I have a feeling the 8800 cards hold a nasty surprise in terms of DX10 support. Think Geforce FX ;)

Maybe by this time next year things will look better. There are not many dx10 cards to choose from yet anyways, and the ones that are available are over priced

Ok, let's read the topic together:
"DX10 - version - of - Microsoft - Flight - Simulator - X - delayed"

It also says quote: "In fact, a lot of DX10 games are delayed"

Hell hardware support is already here on nvidia's end. Basically, they hyped it up so much, its not living up to the hype and therefore, they want to make sure they get it fixed. Dumb asses. They shouldnt have made it need new hardware to run it.
