I should sell the old 5770 and buy 6950, but can anyone tell me should I go with BIOSTAR or ECS, sorry, the lingering feeling is bursting now.

I should still be able to use 6950 in my mobo right? *Gulp*, as I said the first time my mobo meet 5770, it went to a coma, now? I dont want him to die yet.

Oh last question, I wanted two slots (gen 2.0) running full X16, the ecs runs at X16 at first slot and X8 at the second right? that said I REALLY better buy the BIOSTAR? correct?

:banghead::nutkick::banghead::nutkick::banghead::nutkick::rockout:

Sell the 5770 and buy a 6950.

Pick the board depending on what you like aesthetically. I've had both boards, Biostar is a little faster for boot times (because of its barebones nature), ECS has more features (and hence is a tiny bit slower for boot times).

PCI-Express x8 2.0 will not give you more than a 2% performance drop from full x16, so don't take x8 as a negative.

If you have any more questions, please post a new thread. This isn't super relevant to the review itself, and is more of a "help me pick a mobo" thread.

Thank You

Thanks for the help danish, yeah it was kind of getting out of hand, I wanted to use the ECS but if it has a potential of destroying my Processor then that is a big NO. Just needed to know if TPU had an answer from ECS about it.

I am actually far from confused, just needed to know of the status of this glitch, and next is locked and loaded, I just need to aim and fire next.

Again Thanks! :rockout:
